I'm excited for the holidays! Except that I'm in college and this means that it is "finals" which is always fun! Studying for hours! I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Well my sister Brynn is here for Thanksgiving. So we decided to have a photo shoot. She being the model and me being the picture taker. We went up to the sugar loaf and had some fun there...Lacy went with us but didn't want to be in most of the pictures. Then we came home and took some of her outside in the front yard and then some in her room. My favorite picture is the one of her eyes. Its just so amazing...or at least I think it is! She has way pretty eyes. We kept ourselves entertained for an hour or two! ha ha it was a pretty fun day! :D

Party!

On Saturday night my brother Weston asked if I wanted to be his date and go to a party with him. I said sure! Then he told me that I had to dress up like an 80's person. I had one hour to get ready...and no clue what wear....So I came home and found some stuff and threw it together. When my brother came to pick me up all he could do was laugh! He said I had the best outfit at the party. The party wasn't very fun but they had good food! So we just sat there and just ate! ha ha it was a good night! :D

Rock-in-it!

So on Saturday night me and my friend Michell decided to wear my moms dresses from high school and go to a stake dance! We thought it was a cool idea until we got there and we saw all these people....so we sat in the car and debated for a minute weather we were going to go in or not but then I finally convinced both of us. We went in and rocked it! I'm not going to lie we looked pretty hot! We were the life of the whole stake dance! We didn't stay very long but we sure did rock it in the little time we were there! It was a fantastic night I laughed so hard I was crying...Michell was doing this really funny dance type thing....it was way hilarious!

Plays

Well in the last couple months I have been to a couple plays. I went to Thriller the week of Halloween and it was really good. I didn't really like the girls at the beginning they were a little scary and creepy! Then I went to a mid summers night dream at tuacahn because my best friend Michell Tidwell was in it as one of the fairies. That was good and it gave me a good laugh! Then the most recent one I went to was Oklahoma presented by Desert Hills High School. It was really good. I was very impressed they had some troubles with the microphones but other than I think they did a great job! The only one that you can still see is Oklahoma...if you are interested.

Sadies

Sadies was this past weekend and I must say that I'm glad its over. I had a fun time but getting it all prepared was another thing. There was 7 couples totally and I couldn't get anything planned with the other 6 girls. So I was way stressed, luckily everything turned out pretty good. I asked my friend Preston Stratford to go with me. We did are day date at the 2450 park. We carved pumpkins and played missionary tag and other games like that. We didn't start the date until 1:30 because some of our group was taking the ACT. Then we didn't have a break in between our day date and dinner because half of our group was in a choir concert at 6:45. Anyways....so we get to the park and have to wait for half hour for everyone to show up.... Me being the person that I am, I can never be late so I was like 5 minutes early and people didn't start showing up until like 2:00 but we got right into carving pumpkins and did that most of the time. It was amazing how fast the time went by. Then my friend Michele Jones her dad cooked us dinner we had tri-tip steak with mashed potatoes, squash and french bread with a pretzel jell-o for dessert. It was really good. Then we went and got our pictures done at 6:00 and then half went to the concert and the other half came with me and went and played games....We played apples to apples, and Taboo. Then we went to the dance, it wasn't a lot of people there when we showed up then it got full and then empty again...we were pretty much the last group to leave. My date is very energetic and kept the party going at the dance...he was always jumping around, running around, dancing, talking....what ever he could...he made it a fun night! It was a fun experience! but i must say who ever came up with the idea to wear sweatshirts to a dance is crazy! it gets so hot!!!

Last Adventure

This was heading into the "DREADED GROVE" ha ha... I was trying to make a scared face but it wasn't really working out for me... I just looked happy/surprised... I'm such a dork.. but John was really good at making faces. He was trying to teach me but I just wasn't getting the hang of it. The forest was scary but I laughed the whole time... The worst part was we went into this area where it was just full of fog and you couldn't see two feet in front of you and someone was in there but you couldn't see them and they were saying marco and then people said polo and so on and so forth... Then the guy said guess what some one said what and then they said there is two of us and turned on the chain saws...I thought I was going to die! NO JOKE! ha ha but I made it through in one piece! I'm so proud of myself! This was a fabulous weekend! I loved every minute of it!

Part 3 Adventure

We got a little carried away and fell in love with the afros.... John told me I looked good with black hair...I thought he was kinda weird! But I decided that I'm going to become the next diva! Preston is cool and he has a real afro but you cant really tell because I'm kinda blocking it. But this made laugh a lot and its a great memory!

Part 2 Adventure

In this part of the day we were killing time waiting to go to the haunted forest and so we were playing pool and got a little tired of it so we decided to play dress up. John reminded me of Justin off American Idol... I'm just a freak with a greenish/blue cowboy hat on. This gave us some laughs and we had a ball making faces as you can tell!

My Adventures with John

This past weekend was fall break. I went to Salt Lake and spent one day with my friend John ( I met him at EFY) I couldn't fit all the pictures I wanted to in one blog So I'm dong three different blogs to tell you about my exciting day with my friend. Well part one of our adventure started at Jump On It. This is a place in the Lehi area and it is just a room full of tramps connected together and some tramps are propped up against the wall on like a 45 degree angle. It cost 8 dollars for 1 hour, which I think is great! So anyways we got there and John was all excited because he is into gymnastics. He loves doing flips and all that jazz. So I pretty much just watched him do his tricks since I have no flipping skills what so ever. We had a really fun time and we jump our hearts out. It was a great way to spend the afternoon!
I loved every minute of it and just laughed the whole time. I cant wait to go and do it again!

If you don't know who this is this is Michael Buble. He sings songs from back in the old day (well at least to me). He has a song that is called Fever you've probably heard of it. I must say that this guy gives me the "FEVER" I told my mom that I'm going to his concert one day and we are getting back stage passes. I'm going to go in and sweep him off his feet and we are going to married and live happily ever after.. plus he is Canadian, I've heard he has a funny personality, and he is handsome! I can wish cant I?? If you haven't listened to him...you should! You will fall in love!

Homecoming

This past weekend was Pine Views Homecoming and since I'm lame and cant get a date my mom tried setting me up with a guy...which didn't work out so at a moments notice my kind brother Weston texted me and said "Of all the fishes in the sea I pick you to go to homecoming with me!" I said sure! He then said don't mess with me I'm being serious....I then said I'm not so I finally had my date to homecoming. Since he asked me on Wednesday and I was going out of town that day I couldn't do anything about a dress until Friday after school. Once again my mom tried to help by asking teachers at her school if any of their daughters had prom dresses in my size that I could barrow. One of the teachers did so went there and I tried on 4 dresses and took one. I liked the dress but not the jacket. My mom tried to make me feel good about it but could tell it wasn't working. So she racked her brain and kept throwing out names of people to call. I tried Aunt Debbie twice but got no answer. Then my mom threw out a name I new would work. Chelsey Eaton who use to be in my ward but is now married, she was kind enough to let me try on her dresses and I found the perfect one. When I put it on I exclaimed, "It makes me feel pretty!" My mom ordered the coursage and bout. to match without knowing what color my dress would be. She asked them to use neutral colors, live greens, make it unique, and have fun doing it. They turned out perfect! We didn't do a day date so I spent my day in the bath room curling my hair it took 4 hours. Weston picked me up at 6:00p.m. Then we went to the church to see my mom ( was at the relief society broad cast) Then to my brother Justin's to take pictures. From there we headed to chilies for dinner. It was delicious. I told my brother that we couldn't be to early at the dance or else we would like geeks...he just laughed at me. So then we came home so I could go to the bathroom and kill some time.... Then my mom showed up and decided to have a photo op. Weston doesn't like his picture taken but was a good sport about it. After pictures at our house we went to the dance and got them done (hopefully it turns out good!) then we were still really early so we went for a little drive and practiced our dance moves in the car...what a sight! Then we stopped at hearts to get a drink because we were both parched! Then went back to the dance and stayed there until ten. We danced a couple slow songs and one fast one and then we were wall flowers and just watched all the crazy kids...and made of them...shh..Then we went to Spoon me or as Weston says "Scoop me" It was different but really good. Then he took me home and that was that. It was the perfect date, I could be myself and I didn't have to worry about the good night hug and kiss. I had a blast. I would like to thank my brother for being the best date ever! It was perfect for my first formal dance. I cant explain how much fun it was. Just the two of us being goof balls. I told him I was going to mimick ever dance move he did... so he wouldn't feel like a dork by himself :D I love my brother so much and I'm honored that he took me. It was just what I pictured it to be...even if it was at the last minute!

Grandpa Clark

My Grandpa Clark passed away one year ago and he was my role model. Some things that I remember the most about my grandpa is.... 1. His Greetings when I came in the door it was always hey there is my rug-rats or is that maca rilee 2. His pinches 3. Him holding my thumb so tight that i thought it was going to fall off and me always trying to get out of his grip 4. His never ending gas...and he would always try and blame it on you by saying "wud you say?" 4. He was always singing or whistling... 5. Teasing me about the fat boys...long story :D 6. Picking his back for money...if you got lucky sometimes he would give 20.00 7. Sticking out his teeth at me 8. calling all of his grandkids by their nicknames 9. his home made fudge 10. His love for the outdoors 11. Him always playing cards or working on a puzzle 12.Sitting in his lap while he just loves on me 13. Going to the farm and getting our medicine on the way (which is a soda) for him it was a diet pepsi with a squirt of cherry pepsi in it 14. His big blue eyes and his one "broke eye" and you could never tell where it was looking. 15.His love for everyone 16.His peppermint paddies These are just a few things that I remember of my grandpa clark. I love him so much and I cant wait until I get to see him again.
