Sid The Monster

This weekend my sister (Brynn) came home and she brought her dog Sid. He is the cutest dog, until you confine him in a small space. Last time they were here we put him in my bathroom.... He got glitter every where, bit everything he could get his teeth on, and shredded some toilet paper. He literally got into everything, and it looked like a tornado hit my bathroom (I'm still cleaning glitter up to this day.) Well this time we put him in my mom's bathroom....and this is what he did.... He definitely is a Monster Boy! At least he is cute!

Well last night I went to the Young Single Adult (YSA) family home evening. I just barely started going to the YSA, and I didn't have any friends so I was really scared and nervous to go because one I was going by myself and two I didn't have any friends to back me up. I got there a little after 7 and I debated on if I should walk in or not, well I finally got the courage to and then I thought it would just be a little activity. It was a dance! (I wore the wrong shoes...heels are a bad idea.) It was a stake activity. :/ there were lots of people and I was so nervous! I tried to tag along with some girls I went to high school with..... but that only lasted so long. So then I was standing by myself again. Finally someone came and started talking to me. His name was Limhi. He was nice and invited me to do things with him and he introduced me to a lot of people. Then one of my old friends came (Cassidy) and she introduced me to some people! (Jacob, Nick, and Ryan) I was finally feeling like it was worth going to. I met a few more people and I ended up enjoying the rest of the night. A big group of us went to Denny's after f.h.e was over. It was fun to get to know everyone and have a night out. Then we went to a girls house and watched despicable me. I'm so glad I went, and I'm thankful that I got to meet new people and make new friends. Even though I was super nervous, and kind of didn't want to be there. I'm glad I stayed! Jacob and I are now bffl's (Best Friends for Life.) :)

Happy Valentines to being single

Happy Valentines Day!

I was just thinking about why I'm glad to be single (at this time in my life.)

I don't have to get ready every day to try and impress. (I can stay in my pajamas all day!)

I have the opportunity to meet different types of people in different circles.

I have freedom- to go anywhere, and do anything.

I have my own social identity I can watch whatever I want on t.v. ( like the Bachelor)

I may indulge, change, and grow.

I haven't posted a blog in like a week... so I have some stuff to say. Well I went up north to figure out school. I met with a counselor for about two hours, and he gave me lots of homework. I got most of it done, and I'm excited to say that I don't have to retake any tests and that my act score is high enough that I can get into all the classes that I need to. So I'm really excited to start school, and happy that everything went smoothly! This past Sunday was the Super Bowl! Justin has converted all of us into Steeler fans. We were excited for the big the game. We were sad that we lost....but in my opinion the Packers deserved it. They played a great game, and they haven't won a super bowl in a long time. I went to gymnastics again with Nyah and this time I was tending Anastyn. She is quite the busy body. I said that I would rather do gymnastics with Nyah than try and keep Anastyn entertained and out of the way, but it was still fun. Well I guess thats pretty much all I have to say.....

Gymnastics

Last night Nyah invited me to go to gymnastics with her today. So Today I went to gymnastics! I thought I was just going to go watch....but no, Nyah wanted me to help her do everything. At first I was a little scared.... I know they are just little kids, but I'm really not that coordinated. I did as Nyah commanded, and I actually had fun! She is quite the little gymnast. I was a pretty proud aunt! Anastyn was cute too, she was walking around having a good ol' time. She even got to play on the parachute although I don't think she enjoyed it like Nyah did. After that I came home and typed up a new resume, got a map of UVU, called to make an appointment with a counselor, and now I just have to go to Salt Lake! I'm kind of nervous....which I don't really know why.... I'm sure all will go well!

My brithday!

This past weekend was my 19th birthday! It was a good day. I got up and got ready and went to the college ward for the first time. It was scary, but I enjoyed, and I think I will like it a lot. Then I came home, and my mom had me a birthday cake (it was delicious). Brynn and Sam were here so once the cake was done they took a piece and headed back to Salt Lake. Saturday morning my family went out to breakfast for my birthday. We went to the Egg and I. I ate a lot, and it was all very good! I got a t-shirt, a Steelers bag that is super cute from Judi, Some money to put towards my computer from my mom and Kenyon, a necklace and picture frame, and an itunes gift card from Weston and Rian. I had a great birthday! This weekend we are going up to Salt Lake to meet with a Counselor at UVU, look for housing, and a job! I'm excited, and I hope this gets me motivated! I'm ready to start the next chapter of life. :D
