Beautiful Day

Today was a great day! I have spent the weekend babysitting Jared Call he has down syndrome and he is 19. I went to high school with him and his parents wanted to get away for a weekend. He is so fun to be around and makes everyone smile and laugh. We went to Albertson's first thing this morning, then we came home and got ready for a picnic. My mom sure knows how to plan one. We had amazing food, and I ate so much that I was stuffed and about to explode. Then we played catch with the football, and played on the play ground and just had a good ol' time. Weston, Rian, Tristan, Karris, Nyah, Anastyn, Mom, Jared, Me, and my friend Jacob were all there to enjoy the day. It was a beautiful day, had fun, and enjoyed the company of everyone.

On a side note just a few reasons why I love Jared.

1. He is a great dancer, loves to turn the music up and dance away.

2. His smile is so contagious.

3. He does cute things for example we were in the car and I had a little piece of hair stuck on my lip, and he gently got it off of my lip for me. It was cute :)

Special Needs Mutual

I have done special needs mutual for the last two years and I have absolutely loved it. If you don't know what it is, it is where anyone with disabilities from 12 to 112 can come once a week and do an activity together. They meet every Thursday night and we are together for an hour and a half. I can't even begin to explain how much this has impacted my life. I have learned so much from them and I'm truly going to miss all my special friends that I've made there.

Just a few things that I've learned...

1. They never judge. They except you for who you are no matter what. They look on the inward appearance and not the outside.

2. They have unconditional love. They are so loving and give you hugs and sometimes even kisses every time they see you.

3. They love to have fun. No matter what the activity is they love it. They always have a blast.

4. Genuinely care about you. They are always asking how you're doing, how are you feeling, and it makes you feel great!

5. They love friends. They love making friends, keeping friends, and spending time with friends!

I'm truly grateful for the opportunity that I have had to become friends with all these wonderful people, and for the amazing examples they are to me. I have learned so much from them and will always remember the Thursday nights I spent dancing, cheering, singing, learning, and growing. They really are special!

I'm also thankful for the advisors, and other counselors. My advisors Monica, Shakari, and Joyce. They were great and people that I look up too. Also Jerry and Janice Law. They took me under their wing and I love them.

These were great times that I will always remember.

Well today I had to go to court, and I was really nervous and freaking out just a little.... well a lot. I said a prayer before I left, and low and behold the prosecuting attorney happened to be a guy in my ward. I felt better one because I knew him and two we pretty much got everything figured out before and I went and saw the judge. This made my whole day great! I was in the best mood and I'm glad its over with and I hope that I never have to go back to court again! Its so scary!!

Buzzard and Loudness

My mom and I were talking, and she asked why the button box was out. I told her because I took Jacob a buzzard. (What in the world!) I was on facebook and I saw the last name bullard, but at just a glance it looks like buzzard so thats what I said. Then my mom's response was loudness! Loudness to her means (I love you too) she was trying to text that and it came out loudness. AHH... I take after my mother sometimes. :D

My nieces

After a long week of not seeing my nieces, they are finally home. It's crazy how much I miss them! Nyah told me all about the zoo and the elephants. Then she gave me a couple big kisses and then she told me I need to tell you a secret then she whispered I love you. It was tender and precious! I love my nieces! They are the cutest. Its going to be hard to move away from them!

When it comes, it comes in threes.

Today has been a long day for me. I don't know why,but when it comes to bad things they usually come in threes for me. I've been getting sick, and when I woke up I felt like a train wreck. Then I got call saying there was a warrant for my arrest because I forgot to show up for court today. (it was for a ticket nothing big, and I forgot because I set the date 7 months ago!) Now I have to go to court next Thursday. It scared me a little and I started to cry because thats just what I do. Then I was carrying a box of stuff and fell and skinned my knee and elbow. I like to think that I'm a pretty strong person because when ever I'm tried it comes in threes. Thank goodness that it was a beautiful day today, and the sun was shinning, and my mom was there to comfort me and give me a hug! :)

This is the day I have been waiting for, for a really really long time! I have always wanted a Mac computer, and I finally saved enough money to get one! I spent all day yesterday and half of the day today trying to figure out how to connect it to the wifi...I finally got that accomplished! I have spent quite a bit of time taking pictures on the photo booth. I hope you enjoy my pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!
