Spring Break...

Well my spring break has now come and past. :( and I'm back in school. For spring break my mom finally let me drive to Salt Lake by myself. I left at about noon on Friday and stayed there for five days pretty much being a couch potato. My grandma Joan and I did a little shopping... I got some capris and a yellow tank top to go under a dress that I have. So on Wednesday I left Salt Lake and came home. I got here about 4:00 in the afternoon unloaded my car and played out side in the nice weather.Thursday My mom, Kenyon, me and my friend Preston went to Zions and did a little hiking. I laughed all day long!! Preston is like my best guy friend and we have lots of inside jokes and just make fun of each other all the time. He kept us all entertained! (he is the red head in the picture and thats his cousin next to him) Saturday I didn't really do anything all day...but later Devin invited me to go with him to a baseball game so I went. That was pretty fun! I hadn't been to a baseball game in a long time. Then on Sunday I went to church, we made grandma dinner and had trevor, tyson, and Jeff over. That was fun! Then we had a party at my house well kinda... John and his family and Thayne and his family came over and we had Key lime Cheese cake and watched my preference video...which was kinda embaressing for me...but I made it through! Then on Monday I went to the wellness fair with my mom and I'm perfectly healthy except for my eye sight. I just discovered that I'm near sighted and probably need to get glasses or contacts. Then after the wellness fair Devin and I had a play date. We went to the 2450 park and played frisbee golf and lasso golf. It was a lot of fun. Devin won frisbee golf it was 73-77 which isn't bad considering I'm not so good at that game! Then I won lasso golf! It totally made my day! Then I went back to school on Tuesday! Tuesday was a chaotic day. I went to college and then to one period at the high school and my mom called and said that our friend who has cancer was just taken into the E.R. So I left school a mess, went to the hospital and got to see her. It was really scary I didn't think that she was going to make it. She was emitted to the hospital and as the day went on she looked better and better. I left the hospital and went to dinner with Justin and Emily and looked at houses with them and I broke my phone! :( it just wasn't my day! Now life is going a little smoother and I'm feelin good! :D

Just a little update on me.

Well, I haven't blogged for a while so I thought I would write a line or two. We had a surprise birthday party for my mom on her birthday and that was fun. She was totally shocked and didn't know anything about which made it even better. She just started crying when she walked in. She officially is the BIG 50. As for me I have just been going to school trying to make it until summer. I'm taking a college biology class which isn't very fun and if any one has some good studying tips will you please send them my way!!! I have been to a couple school dances which were way fun!!! I had a blast! Well in two days it will be spring break and I'm way excited!!! My mom is letting me drive to salt lake all by myself for the very first time. She told me, I hope you know its really hard for me to let you do this... (maybe its because I'm the baby!) So I will be in Salt Lake spending time with my sister and my Grandma. Then I'm coming home in the middle of the break to help my mom out and to play some frisbee golf with friends. So I'm way excited! On a not so happy side, I was getting out of my car the other day just getting home from school and I stepped out and it felt like my knee cap or patella (which ever you prefer) was going to pop out. So I just stopped what I was doing and luckily it didn't. But now my knee is all swollen and isn't very happy :( Hopefully it just stays in place because both of my knee caps have already popped out and the doctor said if it happened again I would probably have to have surgery and I don't want that ha ha. Preference 09

So this past weekend was preference (school dance) I took a guy named Devin Nielson. He is such a nice guy! He is a little bit older than me, he has already graduated he is 19 but he was a good sport. I asked him by having him go to the fire station where my brother was working at and I had a cute poem that went with each thing he had to do. He had to put on the turn outs get the hose and run with it carry a 150lbs dummy find things on the engine and then pose with this ugly cat that sings. Then my mom told my brother that I wanted him to pose with his shirt off but with the fire gear still on (but it really was her idea) He was such a good sport...as much as he didn't want to do it, he did it anyways. Well unfortunatly he got me back. He is a gymnastics coach so I had to go to bare foot gymnastics and do cart wheels (which I have never been able to do) then leap, spin, do some summer saults all while my mom, brother, sister-in-law, niece, his parents, the owners and a class are watching me....a little embaressing but I got through it! So our day date started at 8:30 in the morning. We came to my house and ate breakfast which was pancakes, eggs, bacon, and juice. Then from there we went out to my moms school and got DIRTY!!! We had a slip and slide spaghetti, twister with ketchup, mustard, jell-o and then a mixture of three things. We had six bowls of pudding with a candy bar in the bottom that you had to dig in with only your face. Balloons filled with shaving cream and we had to hug each other to pop them. Then we had water balloons filled with ketchup/water, mustard/water, chocolate/water and then we just had a dodge ball fight with those. Then after we got all that cleaned up we went to jimmy johns for lunch then Devin and I came to my house and cleaned up everything and then I took him home and we went and got ready for the dance. Then I picked him up and my friend and her date and then came back to my house for dinner. My brother Weston was nice enough and cooked us dinner! It was delicious. Then we all got together for a group shot and we sizzled like bacon and did the salt shaker then we headed to the dance and after the dance came back to my house had dessert and played quelf it was a great day and I had a blast!

My Birthday :D

So today is my 17th birthday! I got some sweats, perfume, shirt, itunes card, lip gloss. There is still more but I don't get it until my little shin dig tonight. So my sister did my hair for me today.. (which is a change since I usually do hers.) I love it. I wish I could do it! but here are some pictures of my birthday morning! I will post more later to show my shin dig night! :D

For my birthday my mom was nicest enough to pay for me to get my hair done. I went to Paul Mitchel hair and had Sarah Hiatt (my cousin) do it. She did a fantastic job and I love it. She told me to go home and take some pictures and post them on here. So thats what I'm doing! :D

Jr. Prom

Well yesterday I spent all day getting ready for Jr. Prom at 11:00 I had a mani and pedi then I grabbed a fast lunch and had a hair appointment at 1:30 I was there for two hours then at 4:00 I went over to my friends house so her mom could do my make up then I came home got in my dress and then had a little photo op with my mom. My dates name was Devin Nielson, He was such a good date! My mom set me up with him (they work together) he is 19 and the nicest person you could meet. He picked me up at 6:30 and we took some pictures together and he put on my corsage and all that good stuff. Then we were off. He opened the door for me everytime and helped shove my dress in....(that was fun! everytime getting into the truck.) I was really nervous about going on this date because I had only talked to him twice and it was just more of a hey how you doin type of thing. My mom told not to be shy and to be myself...eaiser said than done... But I tried really hard not to be shy and my night turned out great! So... He picked me up and we went and got our pictures taken at the high school then we went to someones house for dinner we had salad, prime rib with corn, carrots and a baked patato it was really good...but my dress wouldn't allow me to eat that much...ha ha Then from there we went to steven wade cadalac for the dance and we were there for an hour or so and danced liked goof balls. Then we went to this girls house to watch a movie and it just so happened to be a scary one and neither one of us like scary movies so we left and he went home and changed his clothes then we came to my house and watched singing-in-the-rain. So our date didn't end until 1:00a.m. He was such a good sport! It was one of the best dates I have been on it pretty much rocked! and I felt like a princess! Here are some pictures :D
