My 20th Birthday
Its been a week of celebrating for me! I am blessed to have such great family and friends. I started celebrating on Tuesday with my Grandma Joan. She took me shopping and I got 3 shirts and a pair of boots. Then she took me out to lunch afterward and we went to Chili's. I love my grandma, and this is one of my favorites memory that I have with her. We have gone shopping every year for school since I started, and now we just throw them in when we can. She also gave me a card with 20.00 in it. Then on Friday my Grandma Becky took me cowgirl boot shopping. I'm really excited, and got some cute boots! Then she took me to lunch afterwards too, we went to village inn. Then Saturday I spent the day with my roommate Carlie. We went shopping, and out to lunch at J-dawgs. It was fun getting to know her, and just hanging out. Then on Sunday Grandma Becky put together a surprise birthday dinner for me at Red Lobster. My mom and sister came up from St. George, then there was Kenyon, Kimber, Wendy, and Kasey. I wasn't expecting them to all be there and it was really nice! It was my first birthday away from home, and it was nice to see familiar faces. Then my sister got me a precious willow tree figurine. My mom got me three cute plaid/flannel shirts. I couldn't be any happier. I feel so spoiled. Then on my actual birthday I woke up feeling really nasty. I have been fight a cold, and so I went to school, then came home and laid down for a little while, then I ran to the store and made myself a cake. Then Weston happened to be in town and he came and took me to dinner at J-dawgs, and then change our kitchen light bulb for us. It's always a fun time when he is in town. My roommates even surprised me! Rachael got me a balloon bouquet with a cupcake, Whitney is giving me a facial (she is an esthetician), and Kristin took me up to Sundance to watch one of the films from the festival, but it was kind of boring so we left early. I spent today in bed most of the day trying to kick this cold... I think it is getting the best of me though. I will try and post pictures from my birthday dinner if I can get them from my grandma.

Just a couple of days in January.
We it snowed a lot the other day so my roommate Carlie and I built a snowman! He was really big! We had a hard time getting the middle piece up, but it ended up breaking into pieces so we would just stick the pieces up, and then add more snow to it. We also made snow angels but they didn't turn out very well. Then there are just a couple pictures of Sister Tidwell and me, right before she went into the MTC. :)

Snow!
Well it finally snowed here! I was hoping it would stay away a little longer. I'm not really too sure how I feel about the snow yet. Don't get me wrong going somewhere to visit the snow, and to play in it is nice... but having to live in it.... It might not be my favorite thing. At least it waited until the end of January I guess. I decided to drive to my Grandma's when it started pouring rain, but then rain turned into snow, and it was a little scary. I hydro-plained twice not a lot but enough to scare me. I hope that driving in the snow will treat me well!
I also officially started working at my new job. Its been an interesting experience. Its a little different than I thought it would, but I think I will still enjoy it. I work will 3 individuals and none of them talk. They just make nosies. When its time to eat its like world war three. They love food! I've only worked two shifts, but I'm excited to start working more to get the routine down, and to get to know them a little better!

Spring Semester
Well I'm back in school! Christmas break was nice. I went down to St. George and got to spend time with the family. My sister got engaged, and I went on a walk, and a date with Jacob Decker, and had a family drive out to Colorado City and Sam gave us a very in depth tour of the city. It was really fascinating to me. I even let a baby cow suck on my finger. It felt like sand paper, and kind of hurt a little.
Anyways.... Like I said I'm back in school! This semester I'm taking English 2010, Humanities through the arts, Math, Nutrition, and Power reading Strategies. Its a total of 15 credits. I started a new job, and had training the first week of school, it was stressful but I'm glad its over. I think I've certified for everything (CPR, First-Aid, Food Handlers Permit, and SOAR) Today is my first day on the job. It should be exciting.
Today Michell Tidwell enters the MTC today. She is heading to Berlin Germany once she makes it out of the MTC. I'm so excited for her, and I wish her the best.
Well with new classes that means there are new people! I met one person that I kind of like. His name is Nate Burgener. He is a cowboy, he asked me out on a date and we went horse back riding. It was one of the best dates I've been on in a while and it was so relaxing. Then we had a movie and watched Three Amigos it was a really funny movie.
Thats pretty much the update on me for the time being.
