This Weekend

On Saturday my mom and I took Nyah and Anastyn to the Library. Nyah enjoyed looking at the books, Anastyn enjoyed looking at the rug that they had in the childrens section. Then we to lunch at Armetias. Then on Sunday I went to my home ward and my special needs friend (Janine) got her young womens medallion at the age of 35 (I think). I was so proud of her she has worked hard this past year and half and she definitely deserves it. The talks were really good too. They were talked about having weaknesses and that if you just turn to the lord first you will be able to conquer anything. Then I went to a farewell (Josh Parkinson) he did a great job and that chapel was packed! I swear every teen was there! It was like I was back in high school . So I went to my ward at 9:00, farewell at 11:00, then I had an appointment with the bishop at 12:30. It was a packed morning! I going to get released from my calling in nursery and I will start attending the college ward. I'm excited, and I hope I make lots of new friends. The bishop paid me a couple comments so I left there feeling excellent. Then I came home and hung out with my mom. I then got onto Lds.org and watched some video clips... they were really good. I learned quite a few things! I think one of my favorite quotes that I got from it was "Walk by faith in a world that is guided by sight." I thought it was pretty good. Then today (Monday) I baby sat Tristan and Karris. I finished a 339 page book today and it only took me two and half days. (The Rescue by Nicholas Sparks) It was good as always. Nicholas Sparks is probably my favorite author! Well that's about it for the weekend update!

Just A Day :D

Today my mom and I took Nyah to the pet store. She looked at every animal at least twice. She was telling the ferrets to wake up because they were sleeping. She counted the turtles and said hello and waved to a couple animals. Then we went to the St. George Animal clinic and let her go see the dogs and the cats. She thought that was pretty cool. Then we took her to the sugar loaf and hiked around there. She said it was fun! We took her in the cave and she didn't know what to think about that. After that we went and got Anastyn (she was taking her nap) when we put Anastyn in the car Nyah just told her about everything she had seen and done. It was super cute. Then I went over to Pine View High School to cut a special needs kids hair. He wanted it done just like his teachers. So that is exactly what I did. Then they wanted me to color it....but with box color.....in school they tell you that box color is very unpredictable and that you should never use it....well they turned out to be right! He wanted black hair and it came out ASHY BLUE!! I felt really bad, but you live and learn I guess. I know now never to use box color again! Then my mom and I went for a bike ride. It was really fun. I think we did more hiking than anything. We tried to follow the trail down by the river but half of it was missing. I can't believe that the river can get that big and wide! Its crazy! It's been a good day today! The best part is...is I got my Hair License in the Mail today!! It's official now! :D

My mom and I and Subway

Well today we went on bike ride. We went to our bank and then cost co on our bikes. Then when we got home we wanted to eat. So we decided to go to subway. Well we were standing in line looking at the little calorie counter chart and then the subway worker (Ian) came over and said, "How are you doing" I said good and my mom said we are looking at the sign... (she thought he asked what are you doing?) so then we all started laughing and my mom made a joke about it. Well Ian said it was nice to know that we had a sense of humor. Then we were sitting at the table eating and chatting and I was trying to say "When we went" and it just came out wewewewewewe and so we started laughing again! I said I was turning into my mother and I took a drink right then and my mom started laughing really hard which made me laugh and I almost spewed everywhere! Then my mom out of the blue just said "What are you doing?" I looked around and then she started busting up laughing again...she was just mimicking what Ian did. So we had a good laugh. Well we were walking out of subway and there was little boy in there and he had a big head. So when we got outside I said "that little boy had a big head" my mom looked at me with a concerned look and said, "You have a big head?" I just looked at her and we started busting up again. Thanks to subway we had a night full of laughs! :D

Pictures of the past year 2010

Here are a few pictures of my life this past year. It has me at high school, seminary, hair school graduation. At the hair show in Vegas, Senior trip, Senior sluff, at special needs, getting my young womens medallion, a picture with Dr. Lou (a motivational speaker) and a couple other ones.

My Brother

Well yesterday was a long a day for me. My mom had the day off and of course that means work work work. We got up and went for a nice bike ride. We rode from the post office on river road to the manawar bridge (not sure how to spell that.) Then we got home about 9 and she told me that I could either clean the living room or help her in the garage. I voted for the living room. I had to dust, vacuum, vacuum the furniture, and move all the furniture into the kitchen so she could shampoo the carpet. Well I got done pretty fast...so then I had to help in the garage. She told me she just wanted to pick it up...well she got this grand idea to move two pallets of her ceramic molds and take them over to storage. Does anyone know how many she has? Or how heavy they are? Well we got them loaded into the truck then we got some lunch. Well then we had to unload them all which I'm super sore from today haha. Well she wanted to finish the taking over the last pallet and I was just done! I didn't have any more energy. Well my brother Weston came over and helped her load the last pallet, he also did a little entertaining! He is a big goof ball and that why I love him. He put on some sweet glasses, some gloves, tucked his shirt in, and pulled his pants up. He looked like a nerd, but I couldn't stop laughing! I was almost rolling on the ground. So he put me in a better mood, and I helped them unload the last of the molds at storage! He totally made my day.

Special Needs Sacrament

Today I went to Aunt Sandra's and Aunt Carma's ward for special needs sacrament. It was really good. Lacy gave a talk and she did a great job, she was super nervous she was shaking so bad. My mom came, and she cried the whole time. She was really touched. Lacy's ward came in and did an activity for us. They had a parachute to play with, musical chairs, a relay, and face painting. The special needs loved it. Then we all came together and danced and sing. I was assigned a new partner her name is Cindy Wade and she has down syndrome. Well she got a couple medals for bowling in the special Olympics. This guy was asking her about her medals and was telling her good job. Then he continued to say that I bet you could beat me in bowling and she said very boldly Ya, I can! I wish I was as confident as they are. I love being in special needs and I have learned so much this past year and half!

Bike Ridding

Today my mom and I went for a 10 mile bike ride. It was so much fun! I haven't been on a bike in ages! I forgot how much I liked it. We rode from our house to my mom's school out in Washington Fields. It only took us about 35 minutes to get there, and 20 minutes to get back. Not bad for my first bike ride in 8 years or more! :D
